Bob Wallis: Home

Singer/songwriter Bob Wallis writes catchy songs about life, love, and shopping that will have you laughing through your tears. Minivan Troubadour, the title track of his second independent CD release, was featured on NPR's Car Talk in 2008. Bob's most popular single on iTunes, Song for My Son, and other fan favorites continue to reach listeners around the world.

"So many of the songs seem to speak to current happenings in our life... just approaching them head on." - a fan in Chicago, IL.

"...by writing that song you have completely and utterly made the day (week, month, year...) Also, your facebook song is hilarious and I have been showing it to all my friends! :) Keep up the good work! :) " - a fan in Scotland.

A Song for You - November 2, 2011

Less than two months 'til the holidays, but don't panic! As you may know I am occasionally hired to write personalized songs. You provide the topic, I deliver the song. These songs can be a unique gift for special occasions. I've written songs for individuals and for groups, for grown-ups and for children, and for various special occasions including birthdays, holidays, and weddings. Here's what people are saying:

"What a treasure we have in these songs."

"Every time he listens to it he gets emotional."

"I read the lyrics and there were so many personalized details and I wondered how you would pull it together into a song - and you did it and it was great!"

I still have a couple spots available to write songs that can be ready in time for the holidays, so contact me ASAP if you'd like to purchase a unique holiday gift!

New CD Project - January 21, 2011

Things are still in the early stages... writing... and writer's block :-) Two songs I know will be included are "130 Nights" and "Silver Queen"... possibly a new version of "Song for My Son"... maybe the Facebook song... and a very short song about Twitter (ba-dump-bum).
